April 26: Long-distance hike with Peter Hensel

On this guided hike (approx. 2.5 to 3 hours) you will experience the Appenzellerland from its most beautiful side. The gentle hills, the fantastic views and the wonderful natural surroundings will inspire you. Peter Hensel knows the region inside out and will tell you lots of exciting and interesting facts along the way.

We will fill your rucksack with a drink, a piece of fruit and an Appenzeller Biberli.

Participation is free of charge for you as a hotel guest, you can register at the reception (at the latest by 5 p.m. the day before)

Depending on the weather and situation, one of the following tours will be undertaken:

Route 1: From the hotel we hike via the suspension bridge to Grub SG and then on to Grub AR. From there we hike up to Kaienspitz, continue via the Scheidweg and then return to Heiden via the Gesundheitsweg.

Duration approx. 3 hours.

Route details

Route 2: From the hotel we hike via the suspension bridge to Grub SG and then up to Fünfländerblick. From there to Wienacht-Tobel and then back to Heiden.

Registration is mandatory. The number of participants is limited to 12 people (min. 4 people). Registrations will be considered in the order in which they arrive.
